임태희 “공천비리 확인되면 비대위 체제 가야”

[뉴스파인더 박남오 기자] 새누리당 대선 경선에 나선 임태희 전 대통령실장은 8일 4‧11 총선 공천헌금 파문과 관련해 “이 문제를 개인 비리로 접근하면 개인도 죽고 당도 죽는다”고 경고했다.
임 전 실장은 이날 오전 평화방송 라디오에 출연해 “이번 사건은 개인의 문제로 볼 게 아니라 아주 위중한 사건으로 다뤄야 한다”며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 “지난해 ‘디도스 사건’ 때 당시 홍준표 대표가 물러났는데 이번 파문은 그것보다 수십 배 큰 사건”이라며 “이번 사안이 사실로 확인된다면 황우여 대표가 물러나는 게 사태 수습의 첫 순서”라고 주장했다.
이어 ‘황 대표가 물러날 경우 다시 비상대책위원회 체제로 가야 하느냐’는 질문에 대해 “당연하다”고 답했다.
그러나 ‘박근혜 전 비상대책위원장이 또 위원장을 맡을 수 있겠느냐’는 질문에는 “박 전 위원장도 이번 사안에서 자유롭지 못하기에 그렇게 돼서는 안된다”고 잘라 말했다.
아울러 그는 “검찰이 이참에 여야 가릴 것 없이 비례대표 공천뇌물을 수사해야 한다”고 강조했다.
