참으로 다행스러운 것

이 매서운 추위처럼 여의도도 얼어붙었습니다.
한미FTA가 비준된 뒤 제 트윗은
온통 저를 매국노로 규탄하는 내용으로
가득찼습니다.
찬찬히 읽어보며
저는 많은 생각이 들었습니다.
'이 간극을 어찌 메워야 하나?
시간이 해결 줄까? 시간이 흘러흘러
인천공항을 그렇게도 반대했던 사람들은
인천공항을 수시로 이용하고,
경부고속도로를 나라팔아먹는 일이라고 했던 이도
씽씽 달릴 때,
우리가 세계에서 최초로
EU와 미국과 FTA를 맺은 나라라는 자부심을
그들이 갖게 될 때
함께 웃을 수 있을까?'
저는 이 나라 국회가
최루탄이 터지는 국회의원이 있는 곳이
되어서는 절대로 안된다고 봅니다.
참으로 부끄러운 일입니다.
더구나 민주당은 한미 FTA후속예산까지
함께 통과시켜놓고서
'네 이럴 줄 내 몰랐다'하니-,
작은 정당 민노당에 이렇게 질질 끌려다니니
여야를 떠나 부끄럽고 부끄럽습니다.
그러나 이 상황에서
뒤로 숨어서는 안된다고 봅니다.
많은 방송과 SNS에서
죽을 각오를 하고 대격전을
치뤄내야 합니다.
그러면 절대로 죽지 않습니다.
정치를 하며 7년,
여러 일을 파란만장하게 겪으며
담금질되고 또 담금질되었다는 것-
참으로 다행스럽게 생각합니다.
