 무엇이 진정한 국익인가

여의도는 어수선합니다. 
FTA와 여야 가릴 것없이 

당내 개혁안이니 공천안을 만든다며 

한마디로 소란스럽습니다. 

 
그런데 공천개혁이라고 하는데 

지금 국민들은 공천개혁에 그렇게 

관심없습니다. 

지금까지 공천개혁하지 않고 

공천한 적이 어디 있었습니까?

거의 50~60%  이른바 물갈이를 했는데요.

 
문제는 한나라당이나 야당이나

제 역할을 다 했느냐. 못해서입니다. 

국민이 분노한 이유는 '공천개혁 못해서'가 아닙니다. 

여당은 책임지는 모습대신 

비겁하고 강단없는 모습을 보여서

야당은 국가를 위한 비판이나 견제가 아니라 

오로지 '권력쟁취를 위한 반대를 위한 반대'만 하니 

국민들이 '여야 다 싫다'며 

'기존정당 네거티브'를 하는 것입니다. 

 
그런 점에서 한미FTA를 어떻게 

국회가 처리하는가는 

여야의 이기고 지는 문제가 아니라 
국익 앞에서 어떻게 행동하고 던졌는가를 

보여주는 매우 중요한 사안입니다. 

 
저는 한미FTA 찬성합니다.

일자리 30만개, 소비자이익 37조-

수출로 먹고사는 우리의 선택이기 때문입니다. 

 
한나라당 의원들이 무엇이 진정한 용기인가를 

무엇이 진정한 국민을 위한 행동인가를 

확고하게 보여줘야 할 것입니다.
