 드디어 그날이 오는가악마와 악마의 대결
 

엊그제 노르웨이에서 벌어진 참사는 전 세계를 충격이 도가니 속으로 몰아넣어 모두가 아직은 정신이 얼떨떨합니다. 어떻게 이런 일이 평화와 번영의 나라 노르웨이에서 벌어질 수 있습니까. 풀리지 않는 의문입니다. 그 나라를 여행한 경험이 있는 사람은 누구나 그런 나라에서 살고 싶다고 생각하였을 것입니다.

어쩌면 자연이 그렇게 아름답고, 사람은 그토록 선량하고, 정치는 더없이 깨끗하다고 누구나가 느꼈을 것입니다. 그런 낙원 같은 나라에 어쩌다 이런 상상도 못할 참혹한 일이 벌어집니까. 서른 두 살의 노르웨이 청년이 젊은이들의 캠프장에 다발총을 들고 나타나 적어도 84명을 사살했고, 같은 시간에 오슬로 정부청사 가까이에 폭탄 테러를 강행하여 7명이 목숨을 잃고 여러 빌딩에 엄청난 피해를 주었다고 전해집니다.

도대체 상상도 할 수 없는 끔찍한 짓이 아닙니까. 범인으로 지목된 자는 집안도 좋고 인물도 잘 생기고 좋은 나라 노르웨이에 사는 행복한 젊은이였습니다. 그런 자가 어쩌다 이런 악마로 돌변해 캠프에 온 젊은이들을 닥치는 대로 쏴 죽이고 그는 태연합니까. 이놈이 극소수 기독교 과격단체와 관련이 있다는 말이 있습니다 .혼자서도 이렇게 큰일을 할 수 있다는 큰 자부심을 갖고 있다니 매우 고약하게 미친놈입니다.

2001년의 9.11 테러가 연상이 되었습니다. 모슬렘 과격파의 용서 못할 만행 - 이에 견줄만한 기독교 과격파의 이에 못지않은 만행. 내 눈에는 두 ‘문명의 충돌’의 본보기 같습니다. 전 세계가 파멸을 향해 가는 것 아닙니까.
