박지성 국가대표 은퇴… 조광래 브라질 월드컵 뛰어줘라
朴 "또 한명의 이청용 나오려면 내가 대표팀 떠야"

'두개의 심장' 박지성(29·맨체스터 유나이티드)이 아시안컵 이후 축구 국가대표를 은퇴한다.
박지성의 아버지 박성종 씨는 16일 제주도 서귀포 월드컵경기장에서 열린 대표팀과 명지대의 연습경기을 지켜본 뒤 박지성의 대표팀 은퇴 의사를 알렸다.
박 씨는 아시안컵 이후 대표팀에서 은퇴하겠다는 박지성의 의지가 확고하다고 언급한 뒤 "(박지성이) 후배들에게도 볼튼의 이청용 같은 선수가 또 나오려면 자신이 대표팀을 떠나야 한다는 얘기를 했다"고 전했다.
덧붙여 "지성이가 없다고 대표팀이 무너지는 일은 절대 없다"고 말했다.
앞서 박지성은 지난해 6월 "아시안컵 우승에 욕심이 있다. 대표팀 은퇴 시기는 2011년 아시안컵 무대가 될 것 같다"고 밝힌 바 있다.
한편, 조광래 대표팀 감독은 "2014년 브라질 월드컵에서 8강에 진출할 수 있도록 박지성이 뛰어줬으면 좋겠다"고 말했다.
