미국 메이저 리그 누적 관중 30억 명 돌파
게임당 관중수 1위는 美式 축구로서 6만8240명.

미국 메이저 리그가 오늘 110년간 누적 관중 30억 명을 기록했다. 1901년부터 계산하여서이다. 1976년에 延10억 관중수를 돌파한 21년 후 1997년에 20억, 그 13년 뒤인 오늘 30억을 돌파한 것이다. 작년 메이저 리그 관중수는 73,418,479명이었다.
프로 스포츠 가운데 관중동원수가 가장 많은 것은 미국의 메이저 리그로서 작년은 게임당 3만338명, 다음이 일본 프로 야구로 2240만 명(게임당 2만5926명), 이어서 미국의 프로 농구가 2155만 명(게임당 1만7520명), 프로 하키는 2148만 명(게임당 1만7460명), 프로 美式 축구는 1747만 명(게임당 6만8240명), 영국의 프로 축구 프리미어 리그는 1353만 명(게임당 3만5600명)이었다.
