호주 법원 애플 상고 기각삼성 최종승리
삼성은 갤럭시탭 10.1을 호주에서 판매할 수 있게 돼

[브레이크뉴스=강지혜 기자] 호주 대법원은 8일(현지시간) 애플이 삼성전자 ‘갤럭시탭 10.1’ 이 2건 이상의 자사 특허를 침해했다며 제기한 판매금지 상고심에 대해 “애플 주장은 이유가 없다”며 기각했다.
이에 따라 삼성전자는 갤럭시탭 10.1을 호주에서 판매할 수 있게 됐다.
애플 측은 지난달 30일 항소심 판결에서 삼성전자 제품에 대한 판매금지를 인정한 1심 결정을 뒤집고 삼성전자의 손을 들어주자 곧바로 상고했다.
이번 최종 판결은 애플과 삼성전자가 10개 나라에서 벌이고 있는 특허권 침해 소송에서 유리하게 작용될 것으로 예상되고 있다.
