 “가족과 스승에게 감사의 편지를”
 바른사회시민회의, 제6회 카네이션 만들기 캠페인 열어

바른사회시민회의(공동대표 박효종 外, 이하 바른사회)는 6일 종로구 화동 소재의 정독도서관 정원에서 ‘사랑과 감사의 편지쓰기 및 카네이션 만들기’ 캠페인을 개최했다.

  
이 날 행사는 감사의 달 5월을 맞이해 가족과 친구, 스승에게 그동안 말로 표현하지 못했던 진실한 마음과 감사의 마음을 편지로 전한다는 취지다.

  
행사를 주최한 바른사회 박주희 조직실장은 “요즘은 가족간에 서로 따뜻한 말 한마디조차 나누기 힘들고, 가까운 친구사이에도 짧은 핸드폰 문자가 익숙한 의사소통 도구가 되고 있다”며 “이처럼 쉽고 편한 의사소통을 하는데 점점 익숙해져 가고 가까운 사람들 간에도 대화가 단절되고 있다”고 아쉬움을 토로했다. 이에 따라 “바른사회는 2004년부터 5월 감사의 달에 ‘사랑과 감사의 편지쓰기 캠페인’을 진행해왔다”고 했다. 


한편 바른사회는 자원봉사자와 시민들이 함께 만든 ‘사랑의 카네이션’ 150여 송이를 시설에 홀로 계시는 할아버지, 할머니에게 달아드릴 계획이라고 밝혔다.
