 “서울광장 365일 난장판 될 것”
 “파리시청광장도 신고제 아닌 허가제”

시민단체 활빈단(단장 홍정식)은 5일 보도자료를 내고, ‘서울광장 신고제 개방’을 반대한다고 밝혔다.
 

활빈단은 서울광장을 신고제 개방할 경우 상습시위꾼의 점령으로 “365일 난장판”이 될 것이라며, 그럼에도 “서울시의원 3/4을 민주당이 장악한 가운데 서울광장을 신고제로 개방하는 내용의 조례안이 시의회에서 통과될 가능성이 높다”고 지적했다.
 

이들은 “서울광장이 반정부세력들의 무질서한 시위 등 정치판 집회로 봇물을 이룰 것”이라며, “야간집회에 대처할 경찰력 투입으로 인한 민생치안 약화”를 우려했다.
 

“워싱턴 내셔널 몰 광장, 파리 시청광장, 런던 트래펄가 광장도 (신고제가 아닌) 허가제”라고 강조한 이들은, “특정단체가 서울광장을 선점하려는 독점적 성격의 집회신고를 1년 내내 냈을 경우 무제한 야간 촛불집회 등 정치구호성 시위 물결을 어떻게 감당할 지도 우려된다”고 말했다.
