 15일째 계속되는 파업 시멘트 이어 철강 석유화학도 업무개시명령
 철강과 석유화학 출하량 평소 절반 수준, 6천여명 명령대상 될 듯

화물연대 파업이 보름째 접어들면서 정부가 철강과 석유화학 분야에 업무개시명령 대상을 확대한다. 지
난달 29일 업무개시명령이 내려진 시멘트 분야에 이어 애초 정유 분야에 명령이 내릴 것으로 예상됐지
만 철강과 석유화학 분야 상황이 더 시급한 것으로 보이면서다. 

 
정부는 8일 임시 국무회의를 열어 철강·석유화학 업계의 집단운송 거부자에 대한 업무개시명령을 발동
했다.  

 
앞서 정부는 전날(7일) 관계장관 상황점검회의를 마치고 "철강, 석유화학 분야의 상황을 점검해 업무개
시명령이 필요하다는데 뜻을 같이 했다"며 8일 임시 국무회의 상정을 예고했다.


당초 정유(탱크로리) 부문 업무개시명령 대상이 예상됐지만 정유는 비교적 수급 상황과 업무 복귀 현황 
등이 빠르게 개선되고 있어 이번에는 빠진다. 그러나 철강과 석유화학은 출하량이 평시 대비 절반 수준
이어서 업무개시명령이 필요한 것으로 정부는 판단하고 있다. 


추가 업무개시명령 발동 대상은 약 6천여명이 될 것으로 보이며, 시멘트까지 3개분야 9천여명이 대상이 
된다. 국토교통부는 현장조사 및 명령서 전달을 위한 실무인력을 증원한다는 계획이다.
