日 반도체 업계 “올해 매출 전년比 11 급감 전망”

일본 정부가 4일 대(對)한국 반도체 소재 수출 규제를 시행한 가운데, 올해 일본 반도체 제조업계 매출이
지난해 대비 급감할 것이라는 전망이 나왔다.
5일 일본 니혼게이자이신문에 따르면, 일본반도체장비협회(SEAJ)는 올해 일본산 반도체 장비 매출이 지
난해 대비 11% 감소한 2조2억엔(약 21조7000억원) 수준일 것으로 예상했다.
앞서 SEAJ는 올 1월 일본산 반도체 장비 매출이 지난해 대비 1% 증가한 2조2810엔(약 24조7500억원)에
달한 것으로 전망한 바 있다. 약 6개월 만에 업계의 전망이 완전히 뒤집힌 것이다.
SEAJ는 메모리 수요와 스마트폰 판매량 감소로 세계 반도체 시장의 회복이 더딘 상황에서 미·중 무역갈
등에 따른 경기 악화로 반도체 업체들이 투자를 꺼리고 있다고 분석했다.
다만 SEAJ는 2020년 일본산 반도체 장비 매출은 올해 대비 10% 증가한 2조2079억엔(약 23조9500억원)
을 기록할 것으로 전망했다. 이어 2021년 매출은 2조3712억엔(약 25조7200억원) 규모로 내다봤다.
그러나 일본 반도체 업계에서는 전날 시행된 대한국 반도체 수출 규제의 영향을 우려하는 목소리도 나오
고 있다. 와타나베 기요시 SEAJ 전무이사는 "(대한국 수출 규제로) 앞으로 어떤 영향을 받을지 모르겠다.
(규제에 따른) 영향을 주시할 것"이라고 말했다.
