아이폰 50220만대 판매
중국 매출 전년대비 21% 증가
애플이 올해 첫 분기에 고가의 '아이폰X' 판매에 힘입어 증권가 전망치를 뛰어넘는 실적을 내놓았다.
애플은 1일(현지시간) 지난 1분기 매출이 전년동기 대비 16% 오른 611억 달러(한화 약 65조4000억원)
라고 밝혔다. 이는 2년치 가장 높은 성장률이다. 영업이익은 158억9400만 달러(한화 약 17조749억원)
로 전년대비 12.7% 증가했다.
주당 순이익은 2.73달러다. 앞서 월가는 매출 608억2000만 달러, 주당 순이익은 2.67달러로 예상한 바
있다.
아이폰 판매 대수는 50220만대를 기록했다. 스트리트어카운트 예상치인 5254만대에는 못미쳤으나 블
룸버그 전망치인 5190만대는 넘어섰다. ASP(평균 판매단가)는 728달러다. 아이폰 매출 증가율은 14%
이다.
특히 중국 매출은 전년대비 21% 증가하면서 저력을 과시했다.
업계는 애플의 이번 실적은 글로벌 스마트폰 시장이 포화상태인 가운데, 중국 소비자들의 자국 선호 우
려를 어느정도 해소했다고 보고 있다. 아이폰 사업 우려 또한 불식시켰다는 분석이다.
팀 쿡 애플 CEO는 “지난 분기 동안 고객들은 아이폰X를 다른 아이폰 제품보다 더 많이 선택했다”며
“중화권과 일본에서도 20%가 넘는 분기 매출 증가를 이뤘다”고 말했다.
한편 애플은 이날 주당 배당금을 16% 인상한 0.73 달러로 책정하고, 1000억 달러의 대규모 자사주 매
