 MBC “1심 판결 불법 파업 정당성 부여 의미 아니다”
 MBC본부노조 업무방해 1심 판결에 대한 입장 밝혀


MBC가 27일 보도 자료를 통해 전국언론노조 MBC본부의 업무방해 혐의 1심 판결에 대한 입장을 밝혔다.

MBC는 "서울남부지방법원 1심 판결에 대한 항소 여부는 사건을 기소한 검찰이 판단할 사안"이라며 "그러나 회사에 막대한 손해를 끼친 170일 간의 노조 파업이 불법 파업이라는 문화방송의 입장은 변함이 없다"고 언급했다.

그러면서 "이번 1심 판결은 본부노조의 위력행사 자체를 부인한 것은 아니다"라며 "또한 본부노조가 편향적인 공정성을 내세우며 불법 파업을 해도 정당성이 부여된다는 의미의 판결은 더욱 아니라고 판단된다"고 덧붙였다.

MBC는 이어 "170일 간의 불법 파업으로 방송 파행을 겪으며 문화방송의 시청률은 2011년 8%대에서 2012년 파업 기간 중에 5%대로 추락했다"며 "2011년 지상파 시청률 1위에서 2012년에는 최하위로 떨어졌다"고 지적했다.

또한 "광고 손실도 막대했다. 불법 파업으로 인한 MBC 그룹의 광고 손실은 무려 1,545억 원에 달한다"며 "파업 기간에만 708억 원, 파업 후유증으로 인한 경쟁력 추락으로 2012년 말까지 837억 원의 손해가 발생, 회사의 브랜드 이미지 추락 등 무형의 손실까지 감안하면 피해 금액은 추산조차 하기 어려울 정도"라고 강조했다.

그러면서 "본부노조의 불법 파업과 관련해서는 여러 건의 소송이 진행 중"이라며 "문화방송은 모든 법적 절차에 적극 대응할 것"이라고 덧붙였다.
