어벤져스는 왜 29개 한강다리 중 마포대교를 찜했을까

국가 중요시설 '가'급 지정… 행정·입법 요인들 많이 이용, 금융·언론사도 인근에
요즘 서울 시내 도심엔 '마포대교 진입통제. 영화 촬영 예정. 3월 30일 일요일 06:00~17:30'라고 적힌 작은 현수막들이 곳곳에 내걸렸다.
2년 전 개봉돼 전 세계 80여개국에서 15억1000만달러를 벌어들인 할리우드 블록버스터 '어벤져스'의 후속편 '어벤져스: 에이지 오브 울트론'(이하 어벤져스2) 촬영이 진행될 예정이기 때문이다. 어벤져스는 '아바타' '타이타닉'에 이어 역대 할리우드 영화 수입 3위를 기록했고 국내에서도 707만명의 관객을 끌어들인 영화다.
영화가 한국을 무대로 삼은 데는 조스 웨던 감독 영향이 컸다. 월트디즈니 코리아 장혜조 부장은 "웨던 감독이 지난해 방한해 촬영 장소를 물색했고, 마포대교·세빛둥둥섬·강남대로 등을 직접 골랐다"고 말했다.
