인권委는 국가기관國家機關인가 좌파단체左派團體인가
「국가인권위원회」는 국가기관(國家機關)인가? 좌파단체(左派團體)인가?
촛불 난동(亂動) 세력 비호에 앞장선 이 위원회가 이번에는 「대한민국 인권상」포상 대상자로 국가보안법 폐지를 주장해 온 좌파운동가를 낙점했다.
인권委가 『우리 사회의 인권 향상을 위해 묵묵히 헌신해 온 인권단체 및 개인의 열정과 노력을 기리고 이를 통해 인권 존중 문화 확산에 기여한다』는 취지로 포상한다는 「대한민국 인권상」수상예정자 李모씨는 부산 민주화실천가족운동협의회(民家協) 대표로 활동해 온 인물이다.
民家協은 「국가보안법폐지국민연대」는 물론, 인천 자유공원 맥아더동상 파괴를 기도했던 親北단체「통일연대」 및 반미폭동을 일으켜 국군까지 폭행했던「평택범대위」등에 참가해왔다.
李모씨는 民家協 등 여러 단체에 이름을 올린 채 국가보안법폐지를 맹렬히 주장해 왔다.
인권委는 이런 인물에 대해 『우리 사회의 인권 향상을 위해 묵묵히 헌신해 왔다』며 『인권 존중 문화 확산에 기여한다』는 목적으로 상(賞)을 준다고 한다.
대체 인권委가 확산(擴散)시키겠다는 『인권 존중 문화』는 무엇인가? 국가보안법을 폐지하려는 좌파문화인가? 맥아더동상을 파괴하겠다는 반미정서인가?
깽판세력이나 옹호하는 인권委는 더 이상 개혁(改革)이나 변신(變身)이 불가능해 보인다. 「좌파의 진지」를 자처하는 인권委는 해산하라! 정부여당은 인권委 해산을 위한 구체적 작업에 나서라! 애국시민들은 이를 끝까지 지지할 것이다.
