방통위 방송법 전파법 전기통신사업법 개정안 재추진

방송통신위원회(위원장 이계철)는 제18대 국회 임기가 종료됨에 따라 폐기되는 방통위 소관 법안(정부입법) 중 방송법, 전파법, 전기통신사업법 등 3개 법안을 원안 그대로 일괄 재추진한다고 밝혔다.
당초 방송통신위원회는 위 3개 법안 개정안을 지난해 12월에 국회에 제출했으나 18대 국회 임기중에 처리되지 못함으로써 입법절차를 다시 밟기로 하고 25일부터 입법예고 등 제반절차를 진행할 계획이다.
이번에 재추진 되는 3개 법안은 외주제작사에 간접광고 허용, 보편적 시청권 보장제도 개선(이상 방송법), 주파수 사용승인제도 개선, 한국전자파문화재단 설립근거 마련(이상 전파법), 기간통신사업 허가절차 개선, 이용자 보호 업무 평가제도 도입(이상 전기통신사업법) 등을 주요내용으로 한다.
방송통신위회는 위 3개 법안을 조속히 추진하기 위해 법제처 등 관계기관과의 협의를 통해 제반 입법절차를 간소화하여 올해 8월까지 19대 국회에 제출한다는 계획이다.
