와글전원책의 보수이야기
♥제233신 20세기에 인류를 질곡에 빠뜨린 2개의 ‘사건‘은 공산주의와 파시즘입니다.
2차대전이 끝나면서 파시즘이라는 ‘집단의 우위‘를 내세우던 ‘경향‘은 사라졌습니다.(나는 파시즘을 이데올로기가 아닌, 하나의 경향으로 이해합니다) 그 뒤 인류는 가공할 경제성장을 했지요. 그런데 공산주의가 붕괴된 뒤 그 전보다 성장은 더디어졌습니다. 재산권을 포함한 자유와 성장을 안정적이고 항구적으로 보장해주는 체제는 민주주의 - 자본주의 - 자유주의 외엔 없습니다. 후쿠야마식 표현으로는 ‘역사의 끝‘인 것이지요. 그런데 공산주의 붕괴 뒤 왜 생각과는 다른 결과가 나왔을까요? 그 답은 대중은 ‘합리적으로 무지한rationally ignorant‘ 존재라는 데 있습니다. 우리와 대만 싱가폴 그리고 지금 중국이 세계가 놀란 성장을 한 건 다 독재 - 권위주의 정부 때였습니다.
