 이재오 “손 내밀면 화해…독재적 발상”

새누리당 이재오 의원이 30일 “내가 찾아가고 내가 손 내밀면 화해와 통합이 될 것이라는 생각은 지극히 오만한 독재적 발상”이라고 주장했다. 이 의원은 이날 자신의 트위터에 “서로 다른 가치관과 역사 인식을 갖고 서로 다른 길을 걸어왔던 사람들이 선거를 눈앞에 두고 화해니 통합이니 하고 돌아다니려면, 먼저 무엇이 다른지 그 거리를 좁히는 일이 우선 돼야 한다”며 이같이 표현했다.

그는 또 “나라를 구하는 일은 자기를 버리는 진정성이 있어야 한다”고 언급했다. 이 의원은 이어 논어의 ‘근자열원자래(近者悅遠者來·가까운 사람을 기쁘게 하면 멀리 있는 사람까지 찾아온다)’ 구절을 인용하면서 “큰 정치를 하려는 사람들은 새겨들어야 할 말”이라고 언급했다.

이런 이 의원의 글은 지난 28일 전태일 재단을 방문했다가 유족의 거부로 발길을 돌린 박근혜 대선 후보의 행보를 지적한 것으로 관측된다.
