서병수 “현영희현기환 제명안 13일 처리할 것”
현영희 제명안, 의총 ⅔ 이상 찬성 얻어야 가결

[뉴스파인더 박남오 기자] 새누리당은 4ㆍ11 총선 공천헌금 파문 당사자인 현영희 의원과 현기환 전 의원의 제명안을 오는 13일 처리키로 했다.
새누리당 서병수 사무총장은 이날 황우여 대표 주재로 여의도 당사에서 열린 정례보고 후 기자들과 만나 “(두 사람의 제명안 처리는) 월요일(13일)에 할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
그는 또 “월요일 최고위에서 두 개 안건을 처리할 것”이라며 “다만 의원총회는 월요일에 할지 화요일(14일)에 할 지 확실하지 않다”고 덧붙였다.
현기환 전 의원 제명안은 최고위 의결만으로 처리가 가능하지만 현역인 현영희 의원 제명안은 의총에서 3분의 2 이상의 찬성을 얻어야 가결된다.
당 윤리위는 지난 6일 전체회의를 열어 두 사람이 당 발전에 유해한 행위를 하고 당의 위신을 훼손했다며 제명을 결정한 바 있다.
