오늘 점심은 가까운 의원들과 함께 했습니다.

다들 밥에 손이 안가

한참을 그냥 말없이 있었습니다.

'일단 먹읍시다'

다들 일단 먹었습니다.

그리고 연이어 나오는 한숨들-

 
'도대체 우리같이 돈이 비껴갔는지

우리가 돈을 내쳤는지 모르지만

정말 고생하면서 여기까지 온 사람도 있는데-'

누구라고 할 것 없이

깊은 한숨이 전염병처럼 방을 돌았습니다.

 
'당에 들어와 참 여러가지 일을 겪었지만

이번 일처럼 충격은 없어요'

'쓰나미지요. 가리지 않고서

다 휩쓸려 가는-'

'장렬히 전사하는 수밖에'

 
무슨 말을 더 하겠습니까?

한나라당이, 이 나라 정치가 이지경이 됐는데--

 
 정말로 안타까운 것은

건강한 영혼을 가지고

절대로 돈으로 때묻히는 짓은 하지않겠다며

여기까지 온 이들의

한탄을 가슴아프게 들어야 하는 점입니다. 

 
 새로운 정치를 하겠다고

저 역시 이 여의도에

들어왔습니다.

한나라당을 바꾸겠다는 일념 하나로 

온갖 고생 마다하지 않았습니다.

 
그런데 결과가 이것이라니-

정말이지 기가 막힙니다.

 
과연 한나라당이 보수 우파 정당으로서

존재 이유가 있는가?

그 자격이 있는가?

이제 그 답을 해야 할 때입니다.
