 자서전 나의도전 나의열정 출간
 정몽준 의원은 4일 오전 여의도 한 중식당에서 자신의 인생과 세상이야기를 담은 자서전 "나의도전 나의열정" 출간 기념회 기자간담회를 가졌습니다. 다음은 인사말 전문입니다

[인사말]

반갑습니다. 바쁘신데 참석해주셔서 감사합니다. 
제가 이때까지 책을 몇권 냈지만 이번에 많은 노력을 해서 책 출간하게 되어 정말 기쁘게 생각합니다. 

많은 분들이 저에 대해서 여러가지 관점에서 말씀들 하고 계신 것 같습니다. 기업인, 체육인, 정치인, 이에 더해 돈이 많은 사람, 고생을 모르는 사람, 하는 식으로 바라보는 것 같습니다. 저도 제가 내가 누구인지 생각을 해봅니다. 

이 책은 여기에 대한 대답을 하기 위해 지은 책입니다. 인간 정몽준이 과연 누구인가에 대해 써보려 했습니다. 이 책이 저를 이해하시는 데 도움이 되길 바랍니다.

그간 여러 분야에서 많은 목표를 향해 도전하면서 살았습니다. 이제 이 열정을 우리나라 정치발전위해 바치려고 합니다. 최근 들어 국내외적으로 많은 일들이 일어나고 있습니다. 전세계적인 경제위기 우리나라에도 큰 영향 미치고 있고 이 경제위기는 자유민주주의체제, 시장경제의 위기라고 보여지며 이것이 우리나라에는 심각한 외교안보상 위기가 될 수 있다 걱정하고 있습니다.

그렇지만 우리 역사 돌아보면 우리 국민들은 많은 기적 만들어내셨고 이런 기적의 역사는 앞으로도 계속되어야 한다고 믿고 있습니다. 

오늘의 이 책이 우리나라 기적의 역사 만들어나가는데 조금이라도 도움이 되었으면 하는 바람입니다. 바쁘신데 참석해주셔서 고맙습니다.
