‘반값등록금 집회 주도’ 한대련 예산 횡령 의혹
연예인 출연료 사용 않고도 지출로 처리

반값등록금 시위를 주도하고 있는 21세기한국대학생연합(이하 한대련)이 사용하지도 않은 예산을 지출한 것처럼 조작한 것으로 알려져 횡령논란에 휩싸였다.
지난 10일 경찰 추산 5,000여명이 참석한 가운데 열렸던 청계광장 집회에서 연예인들 출연료로 지출해야 할 250만원(1팀당 50만원씩 5개팀)이 '사용되지 않았는데도 장부에는 지출처리가 된 것'으로 알려졌다.
한대련 소속의 한 대학 총학생회측은 “이날 행사에 출연했던 연예인들은 출연료를 받지 않았음에도 장부에는 지출로 처리했다”며 횡령 의혹을 제기했다.
특히 한대련은 이날 집회에서 무대 설치와 비품 마련, 연예인 초대 등에 약 3,000만원의 경비를 사용한 것으로 알려져 ‘학생들 행사에 비용이 너무 많이 사용된 것 아니냐’는 지적이 일고 있는 가운데 횡령 논란이 발생된 것이다.
아울러 이들은 행사비를 마련하기 위해 민주당 민노당 진보신당 참여당 전교조 민노총 등에 후원을 요청한 것으로 알려져 반값등록금 시위가 ‘정치집회’라는 정황증거를 드러내기도 했다.
