아시아 최대 저가항공사 에어아시아 한국 진출 얼마나 저렴한가

아시아 최대 저가항공사 ‘에어아시아’가 한국 진출을 선언했다.
에어 아시아의 장거리 노선인 엑스(Air Asia X)가 오는 11월 1일 서울-쿠알라룸푸르 취항을 앞두고 4일 예약업무를 시작한다. 오는 11월부터 주 7회 운항되는 인천과 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르 노선의 항공가는 ‘최저 6만원’. 물론 이 가격은 오는 4일부터 8일까지 인터넷으로 예약하는 승객에게만 한정된 특별가격이지만 정상가 역시 300달러 선으로 책정됐다. 이는 대한항공 등 국적기의 50% 수준에 불과하다.
에어아시아 엑스 외에도 기존 항공사보다 다소 싼 요금을 내세운 외국계 항공사들이 잇달아 취항할 예정으로 알려져 치열한 경쟁을 예고하고 있다.
