尹·韓 갈등 우려 불식 … "당정 갈등 없었다"
윤석열 대통령과 한동훈 국민의힘 비상대책위원장이 22일 열린 제9회 서해수호의 날 기념식에서 만나
북한의 어뢰 공격으로 두 동강 난 천안함 선체를 함께 둘러봤다.
최근 한 위원장이 이종섭 주호주대사 귀국과 황상무 전 대통령실 시민사회수석 사퇴을 요구하면서 제2
윤·한 갈등을 우려하는 목소리가 여권에서 나왔다.
그러나 황 전 수석이 사퇴하고 이 대사가 지난 21일 귀국한 직후 두 사람이 행사장에서 만나면서 갈등
우려를 해소했다는 관측이 나왔다.
대통령실 등에 따르면, 이날 윤 대통령과 한 위원장은 경기도 평택 해군 제2함대사령부에서 열린 제9
회 서해수호의 날 기념식 후 2함대 안에 전시된 천안함 선체를 함께 둘러봤다.
천안함 폭침 당시 함장이었던 최원일 예비역 해군 대령 안내로 당시 상황에 대한 설명도 들었다.
대통령실 관계자는 "윤 대통령과 한 위원장이 국가를 이렇게 위협하는 세력으로부터 이 나라를 굳건히
지켜야 한다는 취지로 대화를 나눴다"고 전했다.
또 윤 대통령과 한 위원장은 천안함을 둘러보고 나오다가 천안함 유족들을 만나 악수하고 위로했다.
이에 대해 대통령실 고위 관계자는 "당정간 갈등이 있다고 하는데 그렇지 않다는 걸 잘 보여주는 것"이
라고 밝혔다.
