김건희 리스크 지적한 김경율 거친 언행 사과…총선 승리 매진할 것

"분별없는 발언했다…충심 배우고 따를 것"
김경율 국민의힘 비상대책위원이 윤석열 대통령 부인 김건희 여사 명품백 수수 의혹 논란을 둘러싼 당
내 갈등의 불을 지핀 언행에 대해 공식 사과했다.
김 비대위원은 22일 오전 국회에서 열린 당 비상대책위원회의에서 "제가 얼마 전 우리 당의 대구·경북
의원들에게 분별없는 발언을 했다"며 "이 자리에 계신 윤재옥 원내대표님께 한 차례 사과 말씀을 드렸고
다시 한번 이 자리에서 죄송하다는 말씀을 올린다"고 말했다.
앞서 김 비대위원은 윤 원내대표를 비롯한 국민의힘 내에서 김 여사 명품백 수수 의혹 논란을 '정치 공
작'으로 규정한 데 대해 "그게 우리 당내 TK(대구·경북)의 시각"이라며 "그분들 입장에서 빨리 4월 10일
이 오기 만을 기다리는 분들이다. 본인의 선수가 늘어나기 만을 바라는 분들"이라고 비판한 바 있다.
또 김 여사를 프랑스 왕비 마리 앙투아네트에 비유하며 "디올 백은 심각한 사건"이라고 날을 세웠다.
김 비대위원은 "민심을 따라서 총선에서 승리해야 한다는 우리 당 지지자 분들과 의원님들의 충심을 배
우고 따르겠다"며 "좀 더 정제된 모습을 보일 수 있도록 노력하고 지금처럼 오직 민심을 받드는 것, 그리
고 총선에서 승리하는 것에만 매진하도록 하겠다"고 다짐했다.
다만 김 비대위원은 이번 사과가 김 여사 명품백에 대한 입장 변화를 의미하는 것은 아니라는 입장이다.
김 비대위원은 비대위 회의 후 기자들과 만나 "계속 같은 생각을 갖고 있다"면서 "짧지 않은 시민 사회
활동을 해왔다. 그거에 기초해서 판단해 달라"고 말했다.
