 세계를 뒤흔든 슛골인 세계1위 독일을 20으로 꺾다

 신태용 감독이 이끄는 한국 축구국가대표팀이 세계 랭킹 1위이자 디펜딩 챔피언인 독일을 2대 0으로 이겼다. 독일은 1938년 프랑스 대회 이후 80년 만에 조별리그에서 꼴찌로 탈락하였다. 8년 만의 월드컵 16강 진출 노력은 실패로 끝났지만 한국은 세계 축구 역사상 기록에 남을 만한 명승부를 기록하였다. 
  
  한국은 27일(한국 시각) 러시아 카잔 아레나에서 열린 2018 러시아 월드컵 F조 최종전 독일과의 경기 후반 추가시간중 김영권과 손흥민의 연속골로 승리했다. 한국은 독일과 1승 2패 승점 3점으로 동률을 이뤘지만 골득실에서 앞서 조3위를 차지했다. 
  
  F조에서는 먼저 2승을 기록한 멕시코가 마지막 3차전에서 스웨덴에 0대 3으로 졌다. 스웨덴과 멕시코는 2승 1패 승점 6점으로 나란히 16강에 올랐는데, 골득실 계산에서 앞선 스웨덴이 조1위다. 
  
  門前 혼전 상황에서 독일 선수를 맞은 공이 김영권에게 향했고, 김영권이 순간적으로 골문 안으로 밀어 넣었다. 시간에 쫓긴 독일은 골키퍼 노이어까지 공격에 가담, 골문은 비었고, 한국은 단 한 번의 역습으로 추가골을 뽑아냈다. 수비진에서 길게 넘어온 공을 손흥민이 밀어넣었다. 독일은 26회의 슛을 날렸지만 골키퍼가 모두 막아냈다.
