트럼프 중국산 수입품 1천억 달러 규모에 추가관세 고려 지시

도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령은 5일(현지시간) 1천억 달러 어치의 중국 수입품에 추가 관세를 부과하는 방
안을 고려하라고 미 무역대표부(USTR)에 지시했다고 밝혔다.
트럼프 대통령은 이날 성명에서 "중국은 미국의 지적재산권을 불공정하게 취득하기 위한 관행을 되풀이하
고 있다"며 이같이 말했다고 로이터, AFP통신 등이 보도했다.
트럼프 대통령은 그러나 "중국과 무역에 관해 논의할 준비는 여전히 돼 있다"고 말해 협상을 계속하겠다는
뜻도 내비쳤다.
앞서 USTR은 지난 3일 500억 달러 상당의 중국 수입품 1천300개 품목에 대해 25% 관세 부과 방침을 발
표했으며, 곧이어 중국도 미국산 17개 분야, 106개 품목에 맞불 관세 부과를 예고했다.[데일리안 = 스팟
