 전원책의 보수이야기 ♥제346신 최근 북한이 핵실험을 강행하겠다고 나선 뒤 우리 신문 방송에서 북핵에 대한 관심이 부쩍 높아졌습니다
 

여러 전문가들이 인터뷰에 나서고 있지요. 문제는 그들이 말하는 내용이 내가 확인한 자료들과 너무나 동떨어진 것이라는 점입니다. 예컨대 동아일보에 실린, 2001년까지 러시아 lCBM을 운영한 전략미사일부대 중령 출신이라는 예브세예프의 인터뷰입니다. 그는 북한이 HEU를 80%까지도 농축한 증거가 없다고 합니다. 게다가 핵탄두 소형화에 파키스탄이 10년 걸렸다면서 북한도 아직 ICBM에 탑재할 정도의 소형화에 이르지 못했다고 주장합니다. 분명한 것은 우라늄235 농축은 P2형 원심분리기를 가진 북한으로선 그리 어려운 문제가 아니라는 사실입니다. 그리고 50%를 농축했다면 우라늄탄에 쓰이는 90%농축도 쉽다는 것이지요. 북한이 고농축에 성공했다거나 이미 오래 전 우라늄탄을 가졌다는 증거는 클린턴 자서전에도 있습니다. 12년전 전역한 러시아 중령의 분석은 내가 보기엔 너무 엉터립니다. 무엇보다도 우라늄탄은 '고폭실험' 같은 실험이 필요하지 않고, 노동 미사일에 탑재가 가능하도록 소형화하는 것도 어렵지 않습니다. 중요한 것은 그의 인터뷰 역시 북핵이 '대미용'이라고 전제하고 있는 점입니다. ICBM은 대남용은 아닐 테니까요.
