전원책의 보수이야기 제335신 마르크스가 꿈꾼 공산사회는 계급이 없고 국가가 소멸한 사회입니다
(좌파들은 마르크스의 영향으로 계층을 계급으로 인식합니다. 마르크스가 무지했던 건 '중산층의 출현'을 예측하지 못한 것입니다.) 그런데 공산주의자들은 스탈린 이후 일국공산주의로 나아갔지요. '전세계 공산 공동체'가 불가능하다는 사실도 알았지만, 무엇보다도 스탈린 같은 독재자에겐 공산주의가 지배도구에 불과했기 때문입니다. 중국과 동유럽도 마찬가집니다. 그들은 '자본주의를 겪지 않고' 공산주의로 이행하기 위해 전체주의에 매몰될 수밖에 없었고 국민동의를 끌어내기 위해 '제국주의에 대항한다는 명분으로' 마르크스주의와는 정반대로 민족주의를 내세웠습니다. 지금 북한체제가 '우리민족끼리' 같은 감성적 말장난을 치는 이유도 여기에 있습니다. 그러나 소련이나 유고슬라비아, 체코슬로바키아가 와해된 이유 역시 민족주의가 한 원인이었습니다.(소련은 중산층의 출현이 최대원인입니다) 원류 마르크스주의의 목표였던 세계 공산공동체의 줄현은커녕 '점정적수단'이라던 당시 체제가 계속되면서 정당성을 잃었기 때문이지요.
