 알고도 묵인 아니면 속았는가
 

저는 지금 53살- 참 좋은 나

살아오면서 열심히 일했고 직업도 꽤 여럿 거쳤습니다. 

지금은 정치를 하고 있지만 

전 작가였고 지금도 작가이고,

 
조그만 회사도 두번이나 했었고

강연자로서 부지런히 뛴 적도 있습니다. 

 
그러나 이 모든 출발은 

기자였던 '전여옥'이었습니다. 

제 인생에서 가장 감사히 생각하는 것은 

기자로서 KBS라는 큰 언론사에서 

훈련을 받은 것이었습니다. 

또한 도쿄특파원으로 가서 일본이라는 사회를 

살면서 '체험'한 귀한 기회도 받았습니다. 

 
조갑제 선생께서 늘 '탐사기자 조갑제'로서 

자신을 확대재생산하고 한 편으로 한정하듯 

저 역시 '기자정신'을 잃지말자는 일념으로 

작가로서, 비지니스도. 그리고 정치도 했습니다. 

 
기자라는 직업은 매우 영예롭고 명예로운 것입니다. 

저는 KBS를 떠나 11년만에 

정치에 들어왔지만 
늘 불편부당하고 공명정대한 기자로서 기본자세를 

잃지 않기 위해 노력해왔습니다.

 
적잖은 언론인-기자, 아나운서,프로듀서등등이 

정치에 들어옵니다. 

비례로 지역구로 들어갑니다. 

 
그러나 이번에 중앙일보 논설위원으로 

곧바로 '비례대표 8번'과 '선대위대변인'으로 

직행한 적은 없었습니다.

지역구 출마의 경우도 일종의 '기간'을 

두었던 경우가 대부분이었습니다. 

 
그러면 그가 그동안 썼던 칼럼들-

제가 지금 몸 담은 국민생각에 대한 날선 비난글부터 

박근혜 위원장에 대한 '박비어천가'는 

비례대표용 어용진상품이라는 말밖에 되지 않습니다. 

 
참으로 부끄럽고 수치스러운 일입니다. 

이런 사람이 어떻게 야당과 맞서 

당당한 논평을 낼 수 있습니까?

이런 사람이 어떻게 정부에 대해 

민간사찰 커넥션에 대해 

말 한마디 제대로 할 수 있겠습니까?

 
아무리 국회의원 비례장사라 해도 

이런 천박한 장사를 해서는 안됩니다. 

땀흘리며 사는 시장의 상인들은 

상도의에 입각해 정직하게 장사를 합니다. 
 

상도의에 어긋한 새누리당,

기자로서의 영혼을 판 이상일 새누리 비례후보,

그리고 이런 언론도의를 외면한 기자의 글을 

직전까지 귀중한 지면에 실어준

중앙일보는 답해야 할 것입니다. 

 
이미 알고도 묵인했는지?

아니면 중앙일보도 모르고 당했는지를?

말입니다.
