 친노당으로 간판을 바꿔달아야 할 민주당

본격적인 지방선거 체제로 당이 
들어갔습니다. 

저 역시 이번에 스마트 유세단장을 맡았습니다. 

그래서 이번 선거를 반드시 필승의 DNA로 

치르겠다는 각오를 새롭게 합니다. 

 
지난 4년전의 선거는 '분노의 선거'였습니다. 

무려 6번의 도장을 찍어야 하지만 

분노한 유권자들은 그냥 '쾅쾅쾅!'찍고 

나왔습니다. 

전형적인 줄투표, 묻지마 선거였습니다. 

당시 정동영 전의장은 '싹쓸이만은 막아달라'고 

그야말로 구차스럽게 읍소를 했습니다. 

 
저는 그날 선거결과를 보면서 

등줄기에 소름이 끼쳤습니다. 

무서운 민심, 그리고 4년 뒤가 더 

걱정이 됐습니다. 

 
이제 그 4년 뒤가 현실이 오늘이 됐습니다. 
유시민 후보가 경기도에서는

단일후보가 됐습니다. 

친노진영으로 민주당의 전열은 나란히 

정비됐습니다. 

노무현 전대통령을 탈당시켰던 민주당은 

결국 친노세력들에게 안방을 내주고 말았습니다. 

여전히 민주당은 열린당이며 

그 옛날 우리 한나라당이 부른 그 이름 그대로 

'열우당-열린 우리 친노당'인 셈입니다. 

 
그런 점에서 민주당은 이번 선거에서는

친노세력에게 안방을 내주고

자신들은 자진해서 행랑채로 

옮겨갔습니다. 

 
이번 지자체선거-도대체 

안방을 지킬 능력도 없는 정당이

한표를 달라고 어떻게 말할 수 있는지

참 기가 찰 뿐입니다. 

지자체 선거는 지방행정 일꾼을 뽑는

선거입니다. 
행정이란 자기 영역에서 

'있을 곳에 있어야 하는 사람'이 

하는 것입니다. 

자신이 있을 곳조차 지키지 못하는 

정당 민주당은 이제 간판을 다시 

옛날 간판으로 바꾸는 것이 어떻겠습니까?

 
한나라당과 친노당이 양대선거-

저는 10년의 뼈저린 세월을 경험한

국민들을 믿습니다. 

우리 반드시 선진국 문턱 넘어야 하지 않겠습니까?
