‘동사무소 습격사건’ 이숙정의원 제명
성남시의회, 찬성 26표 반대 2표 기권 3표…제명 가결

민주노동당 소속으로 성남시의회에 입성했다가 판교 주민센터에서 난동을 부려 물의를 빚었던 이숙정(무소속·사진)의원이 결국 제명됐다.
성남시의회는 1일 오후 제179회 1차 정례회 1차 본회의를 열고 재적인원 34명 중 31명이 출석한 가운데 찬성 26표 반대 2표 기권 3표로 이 의원의 징계를 가결했다.
앞서 이 의원은 지난 1월 27일 주민센터 공공근로 여직원에게 모욕적 언행과 난동사건을 피우고, 미용실에서도 행패를 부려 사회적 지탄을 받은 바 있다.
이른바 '동사무소 습격사건'으로 알려진 이 의원의 난동사건과 관련해, 시의회는 지난 2월 제176회 임시회의에서 상정했다가 제명요건 미달로 부결한 바 있고, 이어 3월에는 정족수 미달로 처리되지 못한 가운데 이번이 세 차례 시도만에 이뤄진 결과다.
