 경찰 시위대에 14전 14KO승
 손해배상청구소송서 모두 승리

경찰이 요 근래 불법ㆍ폭력 시위로 입은 인적ㆍ물적 피해에 대해 시위주최 측을 대상으로 제기한 손해배상 청구소송에서 사실상 모두 승소했다. 
 

경찰은 2006년 11월28일 이후 지금까지 모두 18건의 손해배상 소송을 제기했는데, 이중 소송 절차가 완료된 14건 모두 승소했다는 것. 이에 따라 경찰은 모두 1억7천481만원의 배상금을 받아낸 것으로 알려졌다. 
 

나머지 4건은 현재 진행중이다. 특히 쌍용자동차 불법 점거 농성의 경우는 소송가액이 20억5천444만원이나 된다. 
 

경찰은 앞으로도 "피해 규모가 작아도 모두 소송을 제기한다는 방침"이다.
