‘박정희 대통령과 철의 사나이들’ 특별기획전 전쟁기념관서 열려
박정희 대통령 추모 메달도 출시

전쟁기념관(서울 용산)에서 포항제철소 종합 준공 50주년을 맞아 특별기획전이 열리고 있다.
포항제철소 종합 준공 50주년을 맞아 박정희대통령기념재단·경상북도는 공동 주최로 박정희 전 대통령이
중점 추진했던 철강산업의 역사를 재조명한다.
특별기획전 ‘박정희 대통령과 철의 사나이들은 오는 10월 9일까지 전쟁기념관 3층에서 관람할 수 있다.
전쟁기념관을 운영하는 전쟁기념사업회 백승주 회장은 “이번 특별기획전을 개최해 뜻깊다”며 “많은 분이
특별기획전을 통해 철강산업과 경제발전 역사를 되돌아보기를 바란다”고 했다.
박정희 전 대통령의 발자취와 업적을 알리기 위한 첫 추모 메달도 공식 출시했다. 앞면에는 박 전 대통령
의 초상을, 뒷면에는 박 전 대통령의 신조였던 ‘내 일생 조국과 민족을 위하여’라는 문구와 서명을 담았다.
추모 메달은 한정 수량으로 제조되며 ▲금메달 99.9%·31.1g 100개 ▲은메달 99.9%·31.1g 1000개 ▲동메
달 26g 2000개 등 총 3종으로 구성됐다.
