영웅英雄들의 피 묻은 군복의 의미를 기억해야
오늘은 6‧25전쟁이 발발한 지 73년이 되는 날입니다.

73년 전 오늘, 트루먼 미국 대통령은 위기에 처한 대한민국의 자유를 수호하기 위해 참전을 결정했습니
다. 미군 178만 명을 포함해 유엔군 195만 명이 우리의 자유를 지키기 위해 한걸음에 달려왔습니다. 3년
여간 이어진 전쟁에서 62만 명의 국군과, 13만 명의 미군을 포함한 15만 명의 유엔군이 전사, 실종, 부상
등의 피해를 입었습니다.
우리는 참전 용사들과 그 가족들이 흘린 피와 눈물을 결코 잊어서는 안 됩니다. 자유 대한민국을 있게 한
영웅들의 피 묻은 군복의 의미를 기억해야 합니다.
강력한 힘만이 진정한 평화를 보장합니다. 공산 세력의 침략에 온몸으로 맞서 싸워 자유를 지켜낸 영웅
들의 희생이 헛되지 않도록 자유 대한민국을 더욱 굳건히 수호하고 세계시민의 자유와 번영에 기여할 것
입니다.
