북한 "대화 계속하고 싶어" 반응에 "아주 좋은 뉴스" 화답

도널드 트럼프 美대통령이 25일 오전(현지시간) “싱가포르에서 美北정상회담이 다시 열릴 수 있다”고 밝
혔다고 CNN, CNBC 등 美주요 언론들이 일제히 속보로 전했다.
美CNBC에 따르면, 트럼프 대통령은 이날 美해군사관학교 졸업식에 참석하기 위해 백악관을 떠나면서 기
자들에게 “지금 그들(북한)과 대화 중”이라며 “우리 한 번 지켜보자”고 말했다고 한다.
美CNBC는 “트럼프 대통령은 여기에 더해 북한 독재자 김정은과 만날 가능성이 조금은 남았다고 덧붙였
다”면서 “트럼프 대통령의 말이 현재 미국과 북한 당국이 직접 협상을 재개한 것인지 아니면 서로 소통을
하는 데 그친 것인지는 확실치 않다”고 전했다.
美CNBC는 “25일 오전 트럼프 대통령은 자신의 트위터에 북한이 24일 내놓은 성명을 가리켜 ‘매우 좋은
뉴스’로 ‘훈훈하고 생산적인 성명’이라고 지적했다”고 덧붙였다. 美CNBC가 지적한 성명은 김계관 北외
무성 제1부상 명의의 대화 재개 촉구 성명을 말했다.
