 북 2주내 ICBM 또는 IRBM 추가발사 준비 정황
 

CNN보도… 미사일 통제시설 테스트 이미지와 위성기반 레이더 방출 흔적 감지

  북한이 앞으로 2주 안에 대륙간탄도미사일(ICBM) 또는 중장거리탄도미사일(IRBM) 발사 시험을 준비하
는 정황이 포착됐다.

 미 CNN 방송은 19일(현지시간) 관련 사정에 정통한 정부 관리 2명의 말을 인용, “미국의 첩보위성 사진 
분석 결과 북한이 ICBM 또는 IRBM 발사를 위한 부품 및 미사일 통제시설 테스트를 하는 것일 수 있는 그
런 새로운 이미지와 위성기반 레이더 방출 흔적이 감지됐다”고 전했다.

 연합뉴스는 CNN의 보도를 전하며 “미국 당국은 북한이 이달 초 ICBM을 처음으로 발사한 이후 추가 시험 
발사 가능성에 대비해 북한의 관련 레이더와 통신들을 정밀 감시하고 있다”고 설명했다.

 북한은 앞서 지난 4일 오전 9시 40분께 평안북도 방현 일대에서 동해 상으로 탄도미사일 1발을 발사하
고, 오후 특별중대보도를 통해 ICBM 발사에 성공했다고 밝힌 바 있으며 이와 관련해 폴 셀바 미국 합참 
차장은 상원 군사위의 재인준 청문회에 출석해 “북한이 탄도미사일을 미 본토까지 날릴 능력을 갖추고 있
다”면서 “다만 ICBM 유도 및 통제기술은 아직 갖추지 못하고 있다”고 증언했다.(konas)
