 송광호 몇사람 죽고살고 해야 알아주니…
 "한국에서 평화적 시위 안되는 이유는…" 분석

용산참사 추모시위대의 경찰관 집단폭행으로 시위 문화에 대한 우려가 커졌다. 시위 참가자들은 '평화적 시위'라고 주장하지만 시위 때 마다 불상사가 벌어지고 있는 게 우리 시위 문화의 현주소다.

지난 주말 서울 여러 도심에서 벌어진 불법 폭력 시위대의 경찰관 집단폭행 및 강도행위에 대해 이명박 대통령이 "이런 나라가 어디 있느냐"고 개탄할 정도다. 

한나라당 송광호 최고위원은 과격 시위의 원인에 대해 나름대로의 분석을 내놨다. 박희태 대표가 휴가를 떠나 참석할 수 없기 때문에 간담회 형식으로 열린 12일 최고위원회의에서 그는 "우리나라 국민들이 대개 시위를 과격하게 하는 원인을 나름대로 분석해봤다"며 말문을 열었다. 

송 최고위원은 "선진국은 혼자 피켓을 들고 가도 '저 사람이 무엇을 하는구나'알고 받아들여 구체적으로 개선한다"며 그러나 "우리나라는 평화적 시위를 하면 누구하나 쳐다보지 않는다"고 말했다. "그렇기 때문에 불을 놓고 몇 사람 죽고 살고 해야 그때 가서 '아 이걸 고쳐야 되겠구나'하고 생각한다"며 그래서 "평화로운 시위가 안되고 과격하게 된다"는 게 그가 내놓은 분석이다.
