 女조합원 성추행 민노총 간부 해임
 

A 씨 '술에 취해 기억이 나지 않는다'고 주장

 민주노총의 한 핵심 간부가 여성 조합원을 성추행한 혐의로 간부 직위에서 해임돼 파문이 예상된다.
 
 5일 민주노총 관계자에 따르면 지난해 말 이 단체 소속인 간부 A 씨가 여성 조합원을 성추행했다는 제보가 접수됐으며 자체 조사 결과 제보 내용이 사실로 판단돼 최근 해당 간부에 대해 해임 조치가 내려졌다.
  
 성추행 의혹에 대해 사건 당사자인 A 씨는 '술에 취해 기억이 나지 않는다'고 주장하는 것으로 전해졌다.
 
 민주노총 관계자는 "피해자의 희망에 따라 재발방지 프로그램을 조직 차원에서 마련할 것"이라며 2차 피해 가능성 때문에 피해자 신원을 밝힐 수 없다고 덧붙였다.
  
 그는 또 "'이번 사건에 대한 책임을 지고 다른 간부들도 사퇴해야 한다'는 의견과 '이번 사건을 지도부의 진퇴문제로 연결시키는 것은 지나친 비약'이라는 의견이 동시에 나오고 있다"고 내부 분위기를 전했다.
 
 민주노총은 5일 낮 중앙집행위원회를 열어 후속 대책을 논의할 계획이다.
