노盧 한·미 동맹 강조않는게 좋다 현現정부 대북 정책 등 정면 공격
노무현(盧武鉉) 전 대통령은 1일 "(평화통일을 위해선) 대북 억지를 위한 한·미 동맹을 강조하지 않는 것이 좋은 상황"이라고 말했다. 노 전 대통령은 이날 서울 중구 밀레니엄 힐튼호텔에서 열린 '10·4 남북정상선언' 기념행사 특강에서 이같이 말하고, "여기(대북 억지 차원의 한·미 동맹)에 일본까지 끌어 넣어 '한·미·일 협력관계'를 과시하는 것은 남북관계는 물론 중국·러시아와의 관계까지 불편하게 만들 뿐"이라고 했다.
노 전 대통령은 북한 비상사태에 대비한 작전계획 5027과 5029에 대해 "북한과 중국이 의구심을 가질 수 있다"며 "미국이 제안했지만 우리가 거절해 성립하지 않았다"고 했다.
그는 대화를 위해선 북한과의 신뢰가 중요하다며 "나는 (미국이 추진하는) PSI(대량살상무기 확산방지 구상)는 끝내 수용하지 않았고, MD(미사일 방어) 얘기는 꺼내지도 못하게 했고, 작계 5029도 반대했다. 한·미 군사훈련도 최대한 축소하려 노력했고, 6자회담에서 북한의 입장을 최대한 지원했다"고 말했다. 또 "국제회의에서 북한을 비난하는 발언이 나오면 사리를 밝혀 북한을 변론했고, 개별 정상회담에서도 한 시간 이상 북한을 변론한 적도 있다"고 밝혔다.
