 조선왕실의궤 오늘 오후 ‘환국’

  일제 강점기 때 일본으로 강제 반출된 조선왕실의궤, 증보문헌비고 등 우리 도서 1200책이 고국으로 돌아온다. 

 문화재청은 “지난 6월 10일 발효된 한·일 도서협정에 따라 일본 궁내청에 소장된 우리 도서들이 6일 오후 인천공항에 도착한다”고 5일 밝혔다.

 일본 정부는 6일 오후 도쿄 인근 나리타 공항에서 도서를 대한항공 두 대에 나눠 실어 한국으로 보낼 예정이며 오후 3시 35분과 4시 35분경 인천공항에 도착할 것으로 보인다.

 일본이 돌려주기로 약속한 도서는 모두 1205책. 그 중 대례의궤·왕세자가례도감의궤·정묘어제 등 3종 5책은 지난달 노다 요시히코(野田佳彦) 총리가 한·일 정상회담 방한 때 우선 반환한 바 있다. 이번에 반환되는 것은 나머지 147종 1200책이다.

 반환되는 도서는 조선왕실의궤 81종 167책, 이토 히로부미 반출 도서 66조 938책, 증보문헌비고 2종 99책, 대전화통 1종 1책 등이며 경복궁 국립고궁박물관으로 이송, 보관된다.

 이로써 세계문화유산으로 등재된 조선왕실의궤 등 일제 때 강제 반출된 우리 도서는 지난해 8월 간 나오토 총리가 한·일 강제병합 100년을 맞아 도서 반환 계획을 발표한 지 1년 4개월 만에 국내로 들어오게 되었다.

 문화재청 한 관계자는 “이번 귀환도서는 인천공항에 도착하는 시점부터 대한민국 정부가  소유권을 갖는다”면서 “조선왕실 도서가 100년 만에 돌아오는 환수 고유제(告由祭)를 13일 오전 종묘 정전에서 올리고, 27일부터 내년 2월 5일까지 국립고궁박물관에서 특별 전시할 예정”이리고 밝혔다.(Konas)
