국방부, 예비군 급식비 인상하고 전투장구류 지원 확대

 내년부터 예비군 급식의 ‘질’이 높아지고 위생관리도 강화된다.

 국방부는 일반훈련 예비군에게 5,000원씩 지급하는 식비를 내년부터 6,000원으로 인상해 도시락이나 일반식당 급식의 질을 높인다고 26일 밝혔다.

 또한 급식업체에 대한 위생점검도 강화해, 전국 각 지역별로 식약청과 복지단, 군 감찰, 관련부대 관계관으로 ‘합동위생 점검반’을 구성, 식중독 예방과 위생관리도 철저히 한다.

 국방부는 예비군들이 불편을 호소하던 훈련장내 식당 부족도 내년까지 10개소를 건축해 연차적으로 확충하는 등 앞으로 예비군 급식단가 현실화와 급식시설 확충, 위생관리, 만족도 조사 등을 통해 비군급식의 ‘질’을 높이기 위해 노력할 계획이라고 전했다.

 또 국방부는 향방예비군 전투장구류 지원도 확대하기로 했다. 현재, 향방예비군용 전투장구류는 예비군 10명 중 6명만 지급하는 수준으로 전투장구류 추가 확보가 시급한 실정이다. 

 이에 따라 국방부는 ‘15년까지 향방전투장구류 소요의 100%를 확보할 계획이며, 내년에는 금년 예산 59억원에서 54억원을 증액한 113억 원을 투입해 부족한 방탄헬멧과 방독면 등 향방전투장구류를 확보한다고 밝혔다.(konas)
