새로워진 애플의 노트북 맥북에어 출시…성능은

애플은 이전 맥북에어가 출시된 지 9개월만인 20일(미국 현지시간) 신형 맥북에어의 판매를 시작했다고 밝혔다.
이번 출시된 모델에는 지난 6월 공개한 라이언(Lion) 운영체제(OS)를 탑재했으며 텔 샌디브릿지 2세대 프로세서와 솔리드스테이트디스크(SSD)가 내장됐다.
또한 애플의 새로운 전송방식인 썬더볼트(ThunderBolt)가 탑재됐고, 백릿 키보드 기능이 추가됐다.
신형 맥북에어는 외관상으로 와이드 화면 사이즈와 디자인을 비롯, 크기와 두께 심지어는 무게까지도도 기존의 맥북에어와 동일하다.
반면 내부 하드웨어에서는 큰 폭의 개선이 이뤄졌으며 무엇보다 2세대 인텔코어 샌디브릿지프로세서 탑재로 기존 맥북에어에 비해 최대 1.9배~최대 2.5배 속도 향상이 이뤄진 것으로 알려졌다.
신형 맥북에어의 배터리는 5시간에서 최대 7시간 사용가능하며 백릿 키보드 기능 등 배터리를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 여러 가지 기능이 추가됐다.
한편 신형 맥북 에어의 가격은 모델에 따라 125만원~199만원으로 정해졌으며 신형 맥미니는 75만원부터 구매가 가능하다.
