KBS 촬영감독이 방사선에 피폭됐다.
KBS 새 노조인 전국언론노조 KBS 본부는 "지난 3월 일본 대지진 피해 현장을 취재한 KBS 영상취재팀 박모(41) 촬영감독이 후쿠시마의 원전 폭발로 방사선에 피폭됐다"고 3일 밝혔다.
노조는 "박 감독이 원자력병원에서 검사를 받은 후 방사선 피폭으로 일부 염색체가 손상됐다는 통보를 받았다"고 전했다.
박 감독은 지난 3월 11일 일본 대지진이 발생한 다음날인 12일 KBS 2TV 시사프로그램 '추적60분' 제작진과 함께 일본에 들어갔다. 박 감독은 후쿠시마 원전이 폭발할 당시 인근에서 취재를 한 것으로 알려졌다.
노조측은 "일본 지진 취재의 안전 문제를 지적했는데 우려가 현실이 됐다"며 "지금이라도 방사선 피폭 현황을 다시 파악해 전면 재검사하고 대책을 강구해야 한다"라고 주장했다.
KBS 홍보실은 "박 감독이 11일 다시 정밀검사를 받고 결과를 지켜볼 것"이라며 "치료를 위해 모든 수단과 방법을 강구하겠다"라고 전했다.
