막걸리 열풍 시들…생산 32개월만에 감소

꾸준히 상승곡선을 그리던 막걸리 소비가 주춤해졌다.
지난 2월 막걸리 생산량과 내수 출하량이 각각 6.8%, 8.1% 감소했다. 전년 동월 대비로 마이너스를 나타낸 것은 32개월 만이다.
4일 통계청의 광공업 동향 조사결과에 따르면 2월 막걸리(탁주) 생산량과 내수 출하량은 각각 2만 4,395㎘와 2만 2,753㎘를 기록했다. 2009년 ‘막걸리 열풍’이 불기 시작한 뒤로 막걸리 생산량은 지난해 6월 3만 1,981㎘로 고점을 찍은 뒤 꾸준히 하락세를 보였다. 지난해 6월 당시와 비교하면 무려 31%나 생산량이 줄었다.
내수 출하량 역시 이미 작년 9월 3만328kL로 정점을 찍은 뒤 5개월 연속 하락해 지난 2월에는 2만2,753kL까지 떨어졌다.
5일 오전 코스닥시장에서 국순당은 오전 11시30분 현재 전날보다 0.49% 떨어진 1만200원에 거래되고 있다.
반면 맥주와 소주 생산량은 증가세로 돌아섰다. 2월 맥주 생산량은 13만 2,395㎘로 지난해 같은 달 생산량인 12만 3,785㎘보다 7.0% 늘었다. 이는 지난 2월(-0.6%) 소폭 감소를 제외하고 지난해 10월부터 넉달 연속 증가세를 보이는 것이다.
