美 오바마 대통령 카다피는 즉각 물러나라
미국 지도부의 의지는 카다피 측근들에게 많은 심리적 부담을 줄 것으로 보인다. 측근들이 돌아서면 카다피는 자살, 항복, 도망 중 어느 하나를 선택해야 할 것이다.

버락 오바마 미국 대통령은 반정부 시위 이후 처음으로 오늘(한국시간) 리비아 독재자 카다피의 즉각 퇴진을 요구했다. 백악관은 이날 성명을 통해 오바마 대통령이 앙겔라 메르켈 독일 총리와 리비아 사태 대응책을 논의하기 위해 가진 전화통화에서 이같이 말했다고 했다.
오바마 대통령은 “지도자가 권력을 유지하기 위해 自國民을 상대로 폭력을 사용하는 것에만 의존한다면 그는 통치의 적법성을 상실한 것”이라며 “그런 지도자는 즉시 떠나는 것이 나라를 위해 옳은 일”이라고 말했다는 것이다.
힐러리 클린턴 美 국무장관도 오늘 별도의 성명을 통해 “카다피는 더 이상의 유혈사태를 저지르지 말고 물러나야 한다”고 선언했다.
