 리비아 사태를 예견하지 못했던 세계 언론
 리비아에서 불과 10일만에 42년 독재자 카다피가 이 모양이 될 줄은 꿈에도 생각하지 못하였듯이 북한에서 올해 김정일-김정은이 타도된다고 해도 놀랄 일은 아닐 것이다.

 리비아에서 反정부 시위가 일어나기 전에 발간된 세계 주요 신문과 잡지를 읽어보면 거의가 잘못 짚었음을 알게 된다. 리비아는 워낙 카다피의 독재가 강력하여 反정부 시위를 기대할 수 없다는 분석이 지배적이었다. 
  
  전문가들도 예측하지 못하였던 리비아 反政부 시위는 열흘만에 독재자 카다피를 수도 트리폴리와 그 주변만 관장하는 지도자로 격하, 고립시켰다. 제2의 도시 벵가지와 동부 지방이 反정부 세력으로 넘간 데 이어 어젠 제3의 도시 미스라타에서 시위대가 카다피의 외인傭兵들을 몰아냈다고 한다. 反정부 세력이 장악한 동부지방으로 외국 기자들이 들어가 취재를 하고 있다. 
  
  많은 국내 전문가들도 북한에서 급변사태가 일어날 가능성을 매우 낮게 본다. 리비아의 예를 보듯이 미래 예측은 정말 어렵다. 리비아에서 불과 10일만에 42년 독재자 카다피가 이 모양이 될 줄은 꿈에도 생각하지 못하였듯이 북한에서 올해 김정일-김정은이 타도된다고 해도 놀랄 일은 아닐 것이다.
