민노당 북한 조선사회민주당의 실무회담 제안

지난 11일, 북한 조선사회민주당이 민주노동당에 남북정당교류활동과 연대협력 사업문제 논의를 위한 실무회담을 제안해 왔다.
민주노동당은 17일 논평에서 만남의 장소와 시기와 관련하여 개성, 금강산, 제3국 등 합의되는 장소에서 빠른 시일안에 진행하자고 말했다.
유감스럽게도 민주노동당은 조선사회민주당의 제안에 대해 현재 답변을 보낼 수 없는 상황이다.
지난 해 말 통일부가 민주노동당의 북한 주민접촉 신고에 대한 수리를 거부함으로서 사실상 유일하게 진행되고 있었던 정당교류를 전면 차단했기 때문이다.
민주노동당은 이 사안을 어떻게 할지 심사숙고할 것이다.
최근 북한이 접촉을 제안해 온 정당, 단체는 민주노동당을 포함한 6군데라고 언론에 보도되고 있다.
이명박 정부는 6개 정당, 단체들에 대한 접촉을 시급히 승인하여 결자해지의 자세로 남북관계 해소를 위해 최소한의 성의를 보여야 한다.
