日 겐바 “연평도 공격 절대 용납할 수 없어”
“일본은 한국의 입장을 지지한다”

겐바 고이치로 일본 국가전략담당상은 7일 “일본은 연평도 공격 사건을 절대 용납할 수 없는 문제라는 입장”이라고 말했다.
방한 중인 겐바 국가전략담당상은 김성환 외교부 장관과 면담한 자리에서 이 같이 밝힌 뒤 “일본은 한국의 입장을 지지한다”고 강조했다.
이날 양국 장관은 한·일 자유무역협정(FTA) 협상 재개 가능성을 비롯해 양국 간 현안과 북한 문제의 대응 방안을 주제로 논의했다.
교도통신은 김성환 장관은 역사 문제나 재일 한국인에 대한 지방선거 투표권 부여 문제 등의 해결을 요구하자 겐바 담당상은 “(FTA 체결로 양국이) 같은 경제권이 됨으로써 역사 문제를 해결하는 쪽이 빠르지 않겠느냐”고 반문했다고 전했다.
