통큰 커피 나왔다
임대료와 인테리어 비용을 뺐을 때 커피 한 잔당 원가는 460원에 불과

원두커피가 한잔에 단돈 790원 일명 '통큰 커피'가 나왔다.
머핀 전문점 마노핀(manoffin)은 현재 지하철 역 안에 있는 매장에 한해서 아메리카노 한 잔을 790원에 판매 중이다. 컵 가격 포함 890원, 레귤러 사이즈 1,290원이다.
일반 시중 유명 커피전문점들의 판매가 4,000원대에 비한다면 ‘통큰 커피’라고 불릴 만하다. 맛 또한 시음행사를 통해 타 업체에서 파는 커피에 비해 맛도 전혀 떨어지지 않는 수준으로 판명됐다고 마노핀 측은 밝혔다.
이처럼 커피의 가격파괴가 가능한 것은 매장 임대료와 인테리어 비용을 뺐을 때 커피 한 잔당 원가는 460원에 불과하기 때문에 ‘통큰 커피’가 가능하다고 마노핀 측은 주장했다.
